the location proved quite convenient for city exploration i appreciated the fast wifi for smooth connectivity the complimentary breakfast added value to my stay i also liked having chromecast available on the tvs for easy entertainment

the shower head was quite small this was a little disappointing considering the overall quality of the hotel i think a larger water-saving option would be a nice improvement

helpful assistance quick resolution smooth checkout welcome surprise

The reception staff provided very helpful assistance throughout my stay. They quickly resolved a minor air conditioning issue with great courtesy. Checkout also went smoothly. I liked that the hotel provided a continental style breakfast, it was a welcome surprise.

The immediate neighbourhood didn't have much charm or convenient shopping options.

The hotel's location allowed easy exploration of different areas using various transport. Circular Quay, Chinatown, Surry Hills, Barangaroo, Mossman, Cremorne, and the CBD were all accessible. The central station was also located nearby.

The staff was helpful. They answered all my questions! My room included nice toiletries and plenty of towels. The bed offered a wonderfully restful sleep. The continental breakfast presented many choices, and I enjoyed the fresh pastries.

The elevator was a bit slow. I sometimes took the stairs instead.

the oxford room was very nice. it featured a rainfall shower and plush towels. the double shower was AMAZING!!! the bed provided great comfort with high quality linen. complimentary breakfast had yogurt, fruit and bagels.

The gym is in the adjacent building. I only learned about this from online reviews after i left.

disabled access bathroom door

the location was perfect for my needs.

My surrey room did not match the photos online. It seemed designed for disabled access, not what i expected or paid for. the bathroom door automatically opened and closed with a wall button, turning on the light and disturbing my sleep.

cramped room noisy air conditioning

the room i booked, The Sussex, it felt quite cramped. i struggled to move around without hitting the furniture. also, the air conditioning unit was noisy. it disrupted my sleep on several occasions and made relaxing in the room difficult. it's a real shame since the rest of the hotel was fine.
